Yogita was a bright child, who achieved her school education in the year 2012 at Sumermal Jain Public School in New Delhi. Then she studied in Delhi University, she received her Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.), Computer Science Degree in 2015. She could not be more distanced from acting at this point. 

A Career That Started in Tech, Not Theatre

Yogita had given her time in various companies and industries before entering the business of showbiz. She started work as her first job in marketing and operation of Redfoodie, a startup in Delhi. Setting base at Mumbai, she further contributed to her resume by officially working as Sales and Marketing Coordinator in Pratham Education Foundation (Kindly note that she was a volunteer at that time in Pratham). Later on, she joined Trilyo (Working as Sales and Operations Manager). Until 2018 Yogita did not think about joining the pageants and media world which turned her life around.

It was Yogita who got her first experience of being in the public limelight when she was made a finalist of the top 3 of Femina Miss India Rajasthan in 2018. This opportunity created entry points into modeling where she had chances of endorsing brands as well as posing in advertising campaigns which has made her familiar with a lot of people in the industry.

The Turning Point – From Salman Khan to Ekta Kapoor

Destiny was on her side because Yogita was effectively seen with Salman Khan in one of the promotional videos of the television quiz game Dus Ka Dum. Ekta Kapoor, the biggest television producer of India, noticed her confidence and the screen presence, and cast her in an award-winning TV serial. 

Ekta discovered something in Yogita so she gave her the main role of a romantic drama Palak Sharma in Dil Hi Toh Hai (Sony TV, 2018). The show not only made Yogita a household name in the country but proved to make her a promising new face in acting and screen personality. Her chemistry with co-actor Karan Kundrra in the movie was immensely loved, and the character established a strong base in television.

Expanding Her Portfolio: Films and More

Yogita started trying her luck on film and web series after she gained success on television. She appeared in a diverse number of works, many of which included:

• AK vs AK (2020):  is a meta-thriller with Anil Kapoor and Anurag Kashyap.

• Vikram Vedha (2022): A remake of a Tamil blockbuster, Vikram Vedha, featuring Hrithik Roshan and Saif Ali Khan.

• The Kerala Story (2023):  This is one of her most well-known works in the film that provoked both popular and critical response.

Besides her acting career, Yogita has also performed a powerful TEDx talk named The Crossroad of Choices in 2020, in which she shared her story of moving on to the world of acting after the work in the sphere of technology and encouraged many young professionals to get out of your comfort zone and pursue what you love to do.

Personal Life: Relationship with Aaryamann Sethi

This is not the first time that the actress finds the spotlight due to her film roles, but it was in July 2025 when her relationship with Archana Puran Singh’s son Aaryamann Sethi, was announced. Apparently, the two met during the filming of the music video in which they featured titled: Chhoti Baatein. 

Their on and off-screen chemistry was obvious, and the speculations were soon on as to whether both of them were in a relationship or not. The gossip was validated when Aaryamann posted a heart touching vlog on surprising Yogita on the sets of her film at Hyderabad.
